Victoria, British Columbia

Victoria, British Columbia

A few weekends ago, I had an impromptu girls trip with my sister and best friend. We spent the weekend between Victoria and Vancouver and while I’ve been to Vancouver a handful of times – Victoria was a first for me.

Because it is the capital of British Columbia, I imagined that it was going to be a busy metropolitan city much like Vancouver. On the contrary, it felt small, quaint, and lacked that big city bustle – something that’s always nice to escape from when you’re on a vacation to relax and rejuvenate. We had a great time dining at the amazing restaurants, browsing all the unique boutiques, and taking in the fresh ocean air.
