We had a jam packed second day in Rome between seeing the Spanish steps, doing some retail damage, waiting in line for an hour to see the Vatican, and actually touring the inside of the Colosseum.
For dinner, we opted for a cheaper alternative of fried food wrapped in paper cones and beer by the fountains in Piazza Navona. It was a great way to end our two day escapade in Italy.
Having spent a few days in Paris first, Rome was an interesting change of pace for us. The heat was blazing, the streets were flooded with people, and the Italians were much louder. Although we had a good couple of days being tourists and enjoyed everything Rome has to offer, we were eager to return to Paris and continue the Parisian lifestyle we came to know and love.
The Spanish Steps
Amazing spaghetti bolognese for lunch.
